Product Information

Vemox Tablets is used to treat common worm infections – threadworm (pinworm), roundroom, hookworm.

Chewable tablet – suitable for children over 2 years and adults.
Each pack contains six vermox chewable tablets, which is enough to treat 3 people for threadworm.

You must be aged over 18 years to purchase this product. Maximum order quantity of FOUR packs per order.

This product is a medicine and can only be sold within Ireland.

How To Use

Vermox dosage depends on the type of worm infection you are treating. The most common worm infection of the gut is threadworm. Please consult your doctor if you are unsure.
Threadworm Infection Adults and children over 2 years: One tablet. Repeat after 2-4 weeks. If symptoms are still present a few days after taking the dose, consult your doctor.
Other Common Worm Infections (Ascariasis, trichuriasis, ankylostomiasis and mixed infections) Adults and children over 2 years: One tablet morning and night for 3 days.
Other Worm Infections (Taeniasis and strongyloidiasis) Adults: Two tablets morning and night for 3 days.
Children over 2 years old: One tablet morning and night for 3 days.
Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose depending on the type of worm infection.
Always take this medication as prescribed in the Patient Information Leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
