How To Use

• Shake bottle before use 
• Adults and children over 12 years:  Take 10 - 20ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime. 
• If symptoms persist after seven days use, consult your doctor Always take this medication as prescribed in the Patient Information Leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

Active Ingredients

Each 10ml of Gaviscon Extra Oral Suspension contains: Sodium alginate 500mg - an alginate which forms a barrier to prevent burning feeling in the chest. Sodium bicarbonate 213mg and calcium carbonate 325mg – both antacids which neutralise excess stomach acid.
