Gaviscon Extra Chewable Tablets relieves the symptoms of heartburn, indigestion and reflux by neutralising excess stomach acid.

• Forms a protective barrier over contents of the stomach to sooth burning sensation.
• Suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
• Sugar and gluten free.
• Chewable tablets.

This product is a medicine and can only be sold within Ireland.

How To Use

• Chew tablets thoroughly, before swallowing.
• Adults and children 12 years and over:  Take 2 to 4 tablets after meals and at bedtime.
• Maximum dose of four times in 24 hour period.
• Consult yor doctor if you are over 40 years old and experiencing heartburn or acid indigestiojn for the first time
• Always take this medication as prescribed in the Patient Information Leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

Active Ingredients

Each tablet contains active ingredients: 250mg sodium alginate, 133.5mg sodium hydrogen carbonate and 80mg calcium carbonate. 

Other ingredients include: aspartame (E951), Peppermint Flavour, Macrogol 20,000, Mannitol (E421), Copovidone, Acesulfame potassium (950), Magnesium stearate.
