Product Information

Dovonex Psoriasis Ointment is used for the topical treatment of adults who have been diagnosed with mild to moderate plaque psoriasis by a doctor.

Dovonex Psoriasis Ointment contains a form of vitamin D, which controls how the cells in your skin grow.
Suitable for use for adults over 18 years old only.
Maximum weekly usage should not exceed 100g.
Not suitable to apply to face, scalp, genital area and not before a shower or bath.

You must be over 18 years of age to purchase this product. Maximum order quantity of TWO packs per order.

This product is a medicine and can only be sold within Ireland.

How To Use

Adults over 18 years, apply Dovonex Psoriasis to the affected area once a day.
Do not use more than 100g per week. Medication can be used for up to 12 weeks.
Consult your doctor is you do not see at least a 50% improvement in your psoriasis after the 12 weeks of treatment.
Do not take calcium or vitamin D supplements while using Dovonex ointment.
Not suitable to apply to face, scalp, genital area and or before a shower or bath.
Do not cover with an occlusive bandage after application of Dovonex Ointment.
If conditions do not improve within 4 weeks you must see a doctor or if your condition worsens. If extensive skin or nail involvement is present or you experience joint pains/swelling you must see a doctor.
Avoid excessive exposure to artificial or natural sunlight during treatment.
Always apply this medication as prescribed in the Patient Information Leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
