Product Information

Arret works by slowing down an overactive bowel.

Used for the treatment of sudden, short-lived and acute attacks of diarrhoea in adults and children aged 12 years and over.

You must be aged over 18 years to purchase this product. Maximum order quantity of 36 capsules per order.

This product is a medicine and can only be sold within Ireland.

How To Use

Adult and children over 12: Two capsules initially, followed by one capsule after each loose bowl movement. Maximum dose of 5 capsules in any 24 hour period.
Arret is for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and is not a substitute for rehydration therapy.
If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, consult your doctor. Always take this medication as prescribed in the Patient Information Leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are un sure.

Active Ingredients

Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg per capsule.

Other: Lactose Monohydrate, maize starch, talc and magnesium stearate.
